筆記上的MissLee
不知港燦兄要小妹這頁筆記所謂何事。不過港燦一向對教育發展好像有點點興趣,如能引發他對此多發表意見,吾輩定必獲益良多。

這頁是上教育文憑課時抄的,有關進行分組討論的筆記。對老師來說,分組討論可謂既愛 且恨。喜歡是因為可以將學習的工作拋回給學生,讓他們獨立自理,也映襯老師課堂活動多元化,不只是老師一味獨腳戲是也。如果編排及事前指導工夫做得理想, 老師更可邊踱步班房,邊發其白日夢,節省口水花,臨打鐘前更可收拾細軟預備下課,一樂也。但最恨學生吵得似個墟,時時更要巡迴班房,逐個組別探聽其進度及 重覆回答課堂夢遊者之愚昧提問,頗考腳骨力也。

沒有信心各位是否明白我那一圈圈扭麻花字體。黑板書是我教學上的一大挑戰,連小學生也開口指摘我的字體太醜,雖然我覺得是「型」,特別是英文書。讀書時當鄰座偷窺我的筆記,我便更起勁紙上扭麻花,扭得溫習時連自己寫什麼也忘記了。
如果從字體能看一個人的性格,我應該是那些思緒混亂情緒失控一舊二舊像拆開了的冷球一樣難纏的人。

Miss Lee 的字不算難看--所謂「難看」,有兩層意思:一是「核突」;二是看不明白。
不過呢,有些人寫的字看總看不明白……
miss lee很圓啊,那些英文字……感覺是,可以裝很多水似的(不知你是否知我說甚麼……)
日不落,係囉,我也不覺得核突。不過小學生分不清楚核突和草書,總之看不清楚就是核突。

從字體看出Ms Lee是不拘小節的人。

Besides your points no. 1 to 7 , I suggest no. 8 :
A teacher who can demonstrate his/her flow of logic , or thinking process concisely and smoothly , is essential to encourage constructive contributions from students . Otherwise they'll easily get distracted by other classmates , can't concentrate , or just sit and listen passively . Tools such as fishbone diagrams / mind-maps may help . Also good aids to summarize feedbacks from different students on class discussions .
This is my experience as a student . Occasionally I meet lecturers who are real masters. However I can't learn / can just learn only a little from them because I can't follow his flow of thoughts , just a flush of ideas covering lots of areas in a short time , hopping here and there , missing focus .
Smooth , organised and logical flow of thoughts is particularly important to make your suggestions [2] and [6] effective . If [2] and [6] is under control , don't think the rest of your 7 points a problem .
P.S. Your handwriting style , characterized by " fat and round " letters , is the most common I have seen among foreigners and American born Chinese girls . Have you been residing overseas for a long time ?

港燦兄,為何要寫英文呢﹖我也是百份百港燦啊。你連帶兩個comments(雖然一個delete了)都說明了吸引學生的注意力和教學法是重要的(講開又講,第二段係咪copy and paste嫁﹖d用字咁專業既),當然課堂上會很有很多突發的事,學生的反應也不是可預測的。我便試過幾次過於自信地以預測學生反應設定教學流程,可是達不到預期效果,唯有執生了。
可幸最近都在教你delete了那個意見提及的題目,看來你的職業出路闊得很呢,繼Florence建議你做記者後,連教書都可撈埋。
I am a Maths teacher, you can guess how I appreciate good logic and systematic presentation. I agree with 港燦 that clear flow of logic is very important in conveying ideas to students.
But there is an approach that purposely makes the students feel confused, challenges them with lots of contracdicting ideas and provides a maze of thoughts for them to solve.
